Martina is the first CSL to be certified in Ireland. She lives and works in Athlone with marks the geographical centre of Ireland. She practices as a Psychotherapist, Spiritual Companion, and Wisdom Teacher. Martina graduated as a Certified Sage-ing Leader (CSL) in March 2022. She was drawn to Sage-ing by the Spirit-centred approach to ageing and the need and benefit of us. Martina has the lived experience of the healing power of writing and has been working with Progoff method of journaling for a number of years. (Based on the work of Ira Progoff and Depth Psychology). The connection with an international community of like-minded people, recognising the role and the need for elderhood in our communities is what motivates Martina in this work. Martina draws on her skills of facilitation, counselling, wisdom teachings and her life experience as a Grandmother, Mother, daughter, sister and friend in her teaching and circle work.
