Home as a Crucible is a metaphor for the influences that have been brought to bear on us and that have been accepted as a way of being. One task of
conscious aging is the exploration of these behaviors to determine which are still meaningful to who we are today. We will also look at alternative ways to express our loyalty which stems from the gratitude we feel for what has been given to us.
