We met at Beth Hancox’s home and she opened with a wonderful tea cup ritual, where stories were shared and we invited our ancestors to be present. We spent some time with personal check-in to catch up with each other’s lives. Recently we participated in a survey to see just what people wanted in Chapter activities. So we met to discuss this survey. We chose to include any Wisdom Circles which choose to meet monthly; and to meet as a larger Chapter 3-4 times each year. We are now locating a place that can hold future larger groups than members’ homes can hold.
Four members of our Chapter continue to facilitate the SENIORS IN FILM SERIES at a local theatre in Sidney. Once each month a film is chosen and shown to a mostly older adult audience. Following the film, we facilitate a discussion of the movie using Sage-ing concepts and ideas. The participant conversation is lively and inspiring.
