After a successful career as a professor of music education and author, Carol turned her energy toward working spiritually with people in the second half of life. She was led to Sage-ing International, which became the perfect fit for her work. She is both a Certified Sage-ing Leader and a Certified Spiritual Director. Across the years, she has been active in the leadership of Sage-ing International, serving as chair of the Coordinating Council and of the 2014 conference in Seattle. She continues to mentor interns and to serve on the Development Team. Now that she is 80, Carol is turning her energies more inward and will be using her training to accompany people and families through the process of dying. carolkassner@comcast.net
