Christine is a Certified Sage-ing Leader and is available to present/co-present Sage-ing or Aging
workshops anywhere along the eastern seaboard, the New England states, and eastern Canada.
Christine has a PhD in Health Related Science with a focus in Gerontology from Virginia
Commonwealth University in Richmond, a MS in Health Education from St. Joseph’s University
in Philadelphia, and a BA in Psychology from LaSalle University in Philadelphia. She is an
adjunct professor of Gerontology at York College of Pennsylvania and a volunteer for a local
hospice in York PA. For many years she worked as a health educator at a cancer center in
Philadelphia. Christine has presented the Awakening the Sage Within workshop, Sage-ing
related topics to participants of OLLI, and Should I Stay or Should I Go (a workshop about aging
in place) for a local elder law attorney.
Christine is interested in proactive aging, this encompasses healthy aging, mindful aging, living
arrangements (Aging in Place), end of life care, advance care directives, meaningful work, death
and dying, and bereavement. Sage-ing and aging programs can be tailored to your specific
interests.
