A good way to learn about sage-ing® is to read From Age-ing to Sage-ing®, written by Rabbi Zalman Schachter-Shalomi, with Ronald Miller. This tells Reb Zalman’s own story of how he approached retirement and envisioned the rest of his life, and the choice he made to live as an Elder, not just elderly. It explores in great depth the uniqueness of this time of life, and how it can be most rewarding.
Another way to explore Sage-ing® is to participate in a workshop offered by a Sage-ing® Leader. A wide variety of virtual workshops and webinars are offered which provide a good basis for further exploration, including the opportunity of professional development to become a Sage-ing® Leader.
Wisdom Circles are local groups of sage-ing® affiliates who meet regularly to be in community and to explore topics of interest to the group, such as Grandparenting, Legacy, Dealing with Life Challenges, Creativity and a host of other topics.

MultiGen Team
Our MultiGen Team creates connections among diverse people for exploring personal growth and building pathways to address challenges in our world. We especially seek to work with younger adults from ages 20+ - 50.
Marketing Team
Oversees the Marketing of SI’s mission, programs, services and partnerships, including branding and promotion.
Development Team
The Development Team (DT) is responsible for raising funds to allow Sage-ing International to carry out its desired programs.
Ritual Team
The goal of the ritual team is to create rituals honoring life as sacred activity in a sacred universe.
Service Team
Connects members with opportunities to serve Sage-ing International either with life skills already developed or the opportunity to learn new skills to assist in achieving our mission with volunteers.
Education Team
Our Education Team oversees the development and presentation of education programs live and online and resources and makes recommendations to EC and CC regarding budgets, policies and programs.
